New Caterpillar D11T action shots

P5270509.JPGOur resident man down under Gary Steen has sent in these fantastic action shots of the Abigroup's brand new Cat D11T in action.

We don't get to see many of these in action, I believe there is only one D11 that has ever been comissioned for work in the UK.

These monster dozers from Cat have an operating weight of 230100 lb / 104590 kg and are powered by a Cat® C32 ACERT™ engine performing at full rated net power of 634 kW (850 hp) at 1800 rpm with a high torque rise of 21 percent, the large displacement and high torque allow the D11T to doze through tough material. Matched to the high efficiency torque divider and electronically controlled power shift transmission.
