We have been in the grip of some of the worst snow to hit the UK for 18 years and as usual we have come in for a bit of criticism with our inability to cope with extreme weather conditions.
So I thought I would post a couple of videos showing how our Swedish friends deploy large earthmoving kit which has been adapted for snow clearing duties to keep their roads clear.
Firstly we see a Caterpillar 140G motor grader in action with a special side plough fitted.
In this next video we see a Volvo L60F wheeled loader with a special Multiskopa snow clearing bucket.
