Mark Anthony sent me this rather scary looking photo of a Hitachi excavator performing some demolition work in a very unconventional manner!
I have to say this all looks very dodgy to me and I am sure it wouldn't take much for that machine to slide off the edge.
Here at Digger we would love to hear from anyone who knows which country this photo was taken?

I WAS ON THE 3RD FLOOR OF A HOTEL IN GLASGOW CITY CENTRE ONCE TAKING IT DOWN WITH A HYMAC 580 C. THE HEALTH AND SAFETY WAS NOWHERE AS STRICT IN THESE DAYS ,BUT THE DRIVER OF THAT HITACHI IS A BRAVER MAN THAN EVER I WAS . HOPE HIS HOURLY RATE WAS BETTER THAN WE WERE ON.
