Liebherr has taken 70 orders for the new LTC 1045-3.1 compact universal mobile crane it launched at Bauma.
The machine's single cab concept was one of the most appealing features for crane operators. It is mounted on a telescopic arm and pushed to the front of the vehicle when travelling on the road for optimum visibility, and during lifting operations the cab can be elevated to take the operator's eye level up to 7.8m to provide a good view of the worksite.
The new crane is currently being tested by Liebherr with a number of different attachments and series deliveries should start by the end of the year.
