Kobelco to unveil 550t Super Lift crane at Bauma

in Mobile Cranes, Cranes and Access, Kobelco Cranes on 08 February 2010

Kobelco will launch a 550t capacity variant of its SL6000 Super Lift crawler crane at Bauma but ahead of the show it is keeping the details under wrap. As with the existing SL6000, which was launched at the 2007 show, the first new machine will have Weldex's name painted on it.

Since the 2007 show Weldex has taken a further four units - which could be a good omen for the new model.

Also on Kobelco's stand will be an 80t capacity CKE800 carrying the colours of BPH Foundations (which is part of Balfour Beatty) and the new machine will soon join PBH's fleet of 28 Kobelco crawlers.
