HSS Onsite is a new service from the UK's oldest hire company which will see it setting up dedicated depots at customer's locations providing a boost to efficiency, cost and environmental benefits.

Its UK and Irish customers can choose HSS Onsite packages sized ranging from a hot desk in a pre-existing building to a double-stacked portable structure with full stockholding and training capabilities. This provides easy and instant access to equipment and customer service, enhancing efficiency and flexibility.

A typical 'Onsite' package would include a modular building housing shop facilities and an equipment storage area as well as personalised safety and directional signage. It would be staffed by HSS and also stock a tailored range of resale and consumable items.

HSS has already located Onsite facilities on projects including Shell Centre, Canary Wharf, National Tennis Centre and Westfield Stratford.

Deane Hudson, Director of Kier Retail, said: "We are delighted with this innovative onsite facility offer - not only do we get immediate access to mission-critical equipment but it's has also added value by assisting with onsite training".
