Free seminars for Best Practice Guides launch

The Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) will launch two Best Practice Guides in separate seminars on Wednesday 16th June at the Vertical Days exhibition.

In the morning it will launch of the Best Practice Guide on the Maintenance, Inspection and Thorough Examination of Mobile Cranes and the seminar will include a presentation by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The guide gives comprehensive advice on effective and efficient ways of carrying out both maintenance and thorough examination of mobile cranes.

In the afternoon the CPA and HSE will join forces with the Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers to launch the Best Practice Guide on the Safe Use of Lorry Loaders. The guide builds on advice given in the recently published revision of BS 7121 Pt 4 Code of Practice for the Safe Use of Cranes.
