TCG 250 is Trelawny's more compact grinder
The new TCG 250 heavy duty floor grinder manufactured by Trelawny is a smaller version of its well established TCG 500.
While the TCG 500 is a dual disc grinder, with two 250mm diameter discs and a 590mm cutting width, the TCG 250 has a single flexible rotating disc to give a cutting width of 250mm.
Trelawny says that the TCG 250 is ideally suited to areas of small to medium floors, for surface levelling and preparation before applying new coatings. It can be used on concrete, granite marble and stone. Applications include industrial floor preparation, decontamination and concrete slab repair.
It can be used for removing surface coatings, adhesives, road markings; smoothing and levelling concrete; polishing; or grinding terrazzo floor tiles.
It is available either with a 5.5hp Honda GXV 160 petrol engine or electric powered in 2.5hp/1.8kW or 3hp/2.2kW versions.
Features include a safety cut-out, folding handle for transportation, flexible coupling for grinder head and water inlet for wet grind applications. There is also a 50mm vacuum port that is compatible for use with a Trelawny dust collector.
