Turnkey's hire package uses Microsoft platform

in Turnkey on 08 February 2010

NAV4Hire is a bespoke computer package for plant and equipment hirers from Turnkey.

Turnkey has built its system on Microsoft's Navison platform (which the computer giant will upgrade through to 2017) and being Windows-based it requires minimal staff training.

Its system is all encompassing from machines and customer records and hire rates to hire details, workshop repairs, maintenance records, accounts and payroll. It can also produce management information showing if individual items are profitable, apply recharges for damage repairs and raise invoices for cross hires.
