Phone functionality added to Syrinx rental software
Higher Concept Software (HCS), has intoduced a new Telephone Integration functionality to its Syrinx rental management solution.
Syrinx supports the operation of more than 550 rental companies in the UK and Ireland, including a significant number of plant hirers such as Land & Water, AB 2000, Winner Plant, and Garriock Bros, who were first introduced to Syrinx during a visit to the SED show.
Syrinx is a hire management system that has been developed over the past 15 years specifically for the needs of rental companies. It is described by HCS as comprehensive and easy and with a reputation for being the most straightforward system on the market.
The package covers all day-to-day rental operations including contracts, amendments, hire fleet, sales, invoicing, CRM, operated hires, workshop, purchasing, reporting and administration.
HCS is constantly updating its system in line with the requirements of the hire industry. The latest upgrade sees the addition of Telephone Integration, which enables rental companies to offer a more prompt, professional and personalised telephone service while maximising productivity and use of staff time, HCS says.
The PC-based smartphone software application has been developed to fully integrate with Syrinx and telephone systems. Names and telephone numbers for Syrinx customers, suppliers, contacts and staff are imported into a real time smartphone address book.
HCS sales and marketing director Katy Williams says: "Telephone Integration allows our customers to see who's calling, and view their notes. It also logs every call, ensuring busy hire depots don't lose out on business if a call is missed."
