Higher Concept Software has added new features to its Syrinx Hire Management System that are designed to help customers save time and money.

The company says that Syrinx is used by more than 550 equipment hire companies throughout the UK and Ireland.

The new features are:

Electronic Storage and Delivery - Paperwork such as delivery and collection notes, purchase orders and invoices, breakdown notes and manual dockets can be scanned in and retrieved later on demand. Sales invoices can be delivered electronically.

SMS Delivery - SMS text messages can be sent directly to customers to keep them informed of progress of their order.

Telephone Integration - See who is calling and have their account details and rental history automatically displayed. Telephone numbers can also be dialled from Syrinx with a single mouse click.

Web Based Customer Access - Syrinx WS can be linked from your own web site to provide a 'customer login' site to let your customers download copy invoices, view equipment on hire, and check which equipment is due for servicing etc.

Syrinx PDA - Integration with PDA technology enables workshop, servicing jobs, delivery and collections to be handled remotely.
