Ashtree shows operator visibility options

in Safety, Ashtree Glass, Company on 27 November 2009

With the standard for operator visibility (ISO5006) currently being re-drafted, plant owners could take the opportunity of a visit to SED to drop by the Ashtree Glass stand to see its range of mirrors and mirror arms.

"A couple of years back everybody just fitted ultra wide angle mirrors but things have moved on," says Ashtree's John Roper. Such mirrors usually made the image of any obstruction or person appear small and far away whereas the latest mirrors have a better targeted angle of view meaning the image is bigger and easier for the operator to see.

To provide for this, Ashtree offers mirrors with a wide variety of viewing angles and also a number of mounting options including a new lighter but stronger mirror arm.

The company is promising to show examples from its full range at SED 2011. For more information visit: www.ashtreeglass.co.uk
